ABOUT ME

  • Hey, I’m Cayden Larrosa — an architecture student with a love for designing spaces that spark connection, creativity, and a sense of belonging. I see architecture as a way to tell stories through structure, blending thoughtful design with practical solutions. Whether I’m sketching ideas, exploring sustainable concepts, or getting lost in the details, I’m always excited by the endless possibilities this field offers. I’m driven by curiosity and a desire to keep growing, with a goal to create spaces that feel as inspired as the people who use them.

  • Hey, I’m Cayden Larrosa — a designer and carpenter passionate about creating immersive, sustainable theatre experiences. I’ve had the joy of working on a variety of projects, from designing sets for Pete the Cat at the Children’s Museum and Theatre of Maine and Frozen Jr. at Schoolhouse Arts in Standish, to assistant designing Twelfth Night at Sehome High School in Washington.

My goal is to use contemporary design practices, projections, and creative problem-solving to build meaningful worlds on stage while pushing for more sustainable solutions in theatre. I believe art is inherently human, and if someone connects with the spaces I design, then I’m doing something right.

  • Growing up on the west coast in the Washington state, I found a love and passion for photography. Starting out with a simple point and shoot and eventually discovering a love of living in a moment through my phones camera. I grew to love candid and documentary styles.

In Maine, I found a distinct direction that would drive my love of photography further than ever before. Taking a more fly on the wall approach and in capturing moments and people. Taking notice of the details most people wouldn’t notice in service of building a closer connection to what makes someone who they are.

When shooting photography my primary lens is a Sony A7SII.

  • Hey! I’m Cayden and I’m working with WMPG in Portland, ME. I’m producing a podcast called The Nihilists Field Guide. A podcast about the lives of those around me and what brings them joy and hope and learning, what makes us human.
